Stranger Things creator Ross Duffer debunks fake Season 5 episode runtime leak: ‘Not even…’

Earlier this week, the teaser for Stranger Things Season 5 dropped, sending the fans into a frenzy. Season 5 marks the final season of the American fiction show. With the teaser of Netflix's original series Stranger Things 5 dropped, fans are early waiting for its release. However, with the teaser dropped, more leaks from the show were shared online. A screenshot has been going around the internet claiming to be the running times of the eight episodes of the new season. With all the episodes near the length of a feature film.  

What did Ross Duffer shut down?

  Now, co-creator Ross Duffer shut down all the rumours on his Instagram story. The co-creator shared the viral photo and wrote, 'Lol not even close to accurate.' Shawn Levy, the director, had earlier said that later episodes could be feature-length. Ross Duffer reassured fans about the upcoming Stranger Things season, saying the recent teaser doesn't give away too much.  

When was the teaser released?

  The teaser was released by Netflix on July 16 and read, 'Don't worry about spoilers this teaser pulls from every episode except 7, but it's mostly Volume One and just barely scratches the surface.' The first four episodes of Stranger Things Season 5 are set to release on November 26.  

How will Stranger Things Season 5 be released?

  Stranger Things Season 5 will be released in three parts. After its first part's release on the Thanksgiving holiday, the next three episodes of Part 2 will be released on Christmas, and the last part will be released on New Year's Eve, December 31. With the end of the year, Stranger Things will also come to an end. The first season was released on Netflix on July 15, 2016. With the success of its first season, the second season was released in October 2017.
