Professional wrestler Hulk Hogan, aka Terry Gene Bollea, passed away due to cardiac arrest at his Florida home on July 24, at the age of 71. Medical help was rushed to his home, and he was taken to an ambulance from his residence in Clearwater, as per a report by TMZ. Hulk was a well-known figure in the 1980s and was a fan's favourite in the wrestling mania. People would copy his iconic moustache style and his signature font double bicep pose.

  On social media, WWE confirmed the demise of the legendary wrestler and expressed their heartfelt condolences to the wrestler's family and friends. The caption read as, 'WWE is saddened to learn WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has passed away. One of pop culture's most recognizable figures, Hogan helped WWE achieve global recognition in the 1980s. WWE extends its condolences to Hogan's family, friends, and fans.'    

 

What was Hulk Hogan complaining about?

  According to TMZ, Hulk Hogan was complaining of a cardiac arrest on Thursday morning. However, he was treated by the Clearwater Fire and Rescue personnel and later taken to the hospital. Upon reaching the hospital, he was pronounced dead.  

When was Hulk born?

  Hulk Hogan was born on August 11, 1953, in Augusta, Georgia. He became one of the most prominent figures in the history of professional wrestling. His handlebar moustache became a trademark. He won the first WWF Championship by defeating The Iron Sheik at Madison Square Garden. This marks his famous era known as 'Hulkmania' where he dominated the wrestling landscape.   Hogan made a drastic turn in his career when he promoted the rival World Championship Wrestling in 1994. After becoming a heroic figure, again in 1996 Hogan turned to villain and formed the New World Order with Scott Hall and Kevin Nash. This help Hulk in his career and also helped World Championship Wrestling dominate over WWE in television rating.   In his career Hulk Hogan had many unforgettable matches against The Rock, Shawn Michaels, Brock Lesnar, Kurt Angle and many others. Apart from wrestling, Hogan also cast in movies such as Suburban Commando and Mr. Nanny and his popular reality series, Hogan Knows Best.
